Agie Murach-Stepnowska
Agie has responsibility for ensuring Waypoint’s support functions meet the ongoing operational needs of the business, as well as longer-term strategies and goals. She assists the Group COO in fulfilling the company’s legal obligations including sustainability, compliance, and business administration. Agie is also a member of Waypoint’s Sustainability Committee.

Claire Bujis
Claire has 20 years insolvency experience, starting at RSM Robson Rhodes in 1999. In 2011 whilst at Moorfields she headed up the property team working for over 7 high street lenders.

Emma Kendall
Emma joined Waypoint in 2022, with an extensive background in Hospitality. She is responsible for the efficient functioning of the London office; involving a range of administration systems and ensuring the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. She is also involved in coordinating deliveries, event planning, and marketing the business, including updating the Group’s social media profile and website.

James Bannister
James, a Law Graduate and a Fellow of the RICS with 25 years’ experience in Real Estate asset management and loan workout. He joined Clutton's in 1998, moving to an investment family office in 2001. James then moved to Morgan Stanley in 2004 and Deutsche Bank as head of the UK team in 2006. Since 2010, James has run his own businesses.

Kirstyn Rutter
Kirstyn has 15 years experience of working in real estate at Cushman & Wakefield, Local Shopping REIT and moved to Waypoint in 2013 as one of its founding members. She has experience in investment transactions, sourcing real estate debt in the UK and Europe, deal structuring and asset management.

Mark Charlton
Mark has over 40 years’ experience in UK and international real estate research and consulting and has developed deep knowledge across a number of sectors. He is responsible for real estate research and updates the business with ‘need to know’ economic and market data on a weekly basis. He supports all areas of our operations with written research and analysis and source relevant data and commentary as required.

Melanie Fern
Melanie has worked in the property accounting industry since 1997 working with Matthews & Goodman and Eddisons. She joined Waypoint in 2015. Melanie is responsible for running the daily accounts and management of financial systems and controls.

Mike Riley
Mike has over 38 years property and lending experience which has included being joint MD of HVB Real Estate Capital (Deutsche Pfandfriefbank) UK CRE lending. He established De Groot Collis finance CRE lending and was the former CEO of Quintain, CEO Local Shopping REIT and Castlemore Capital.
At Waypoint, Mike is responsible for business strategy focusing on new business and initiatives for the Waypoint group. He specialises in financial structuring, capital raising and debt origination. Mike is a member of the investment committees.

Nick Gregory
Nick has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial and residential real estate sectors. Having started out at Chesterton he moved on to join Phillips & Drew/UBS and Castlemore before becoming Joint CEO of The Local Shopping REIT plc. In 2013 he co-founded Waypoint Asset Management with Mike Riley.
At Waypoint, Nick is responsible for real estate investments across the Waypoint Group. He chairs the investment committees and is also responsible for portfolio performance, client reporting and asset management strategy.

Patrick Smith
Patrick qualified as a Chartered Accountant at BDO and has more than 25 years’ experience in the property sector, gained at Capital & Regional, Westfield and Lee Baron. He has expertise in capital appraisals, raising real estate debt and in tax and financial structuring.
Patrick has responsibility for all financial control, planning, risk management and tax matters for the Group and the funds under its management.

Sam Gardam
Sam has over 15 years’ experience working as an executive assistant in the banking and real estate sector for companies such as Deutsche Bank AG London and Situs Asset Management. Sam joined Waypoint Loan Management in 2021 supporting senior executives with scheduling, communications, and operational tasks. In addition to providing high level administrative support, she assists in the day-to-day business, liaising with clients and helping streamline processes to ensure smooth operations.
